The little GREAT exhibition - A creative celebration of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert's anniversaries


The little GREAT exhibition has brought together all things Victorian to celebrate Queen Victoria's & Prince Albert ’s 200th anniversaries. Busy Buttons CORE is honoured to showcase ' The little GREAT Exhibition offering great learning insights into the Victorian Era with an exhibition of 10 beautifully decorated majestic arches created with over 200 school children using recycling focusing on various educational facts about the Victorian Era. This living exhibition has not only received invaluable contributions from prestigious heritage organisations and private collections but also encouraged local contributions in the sharing of local Victorian history. Also on offer are 6 enriching educational heritage events alongside our partner organisations, Toor Collection of Sikh Art, Household Cavalry Museum , Royal Collection Trust's learning team from Windsor Castle, Windsor & Royal Borough Museum, Windsor Castle Horse Carriage Tours, Eddispoke Historical Bicycles and Theatre Royal Windsor. Each FREE creative heritage events is further supported by a specially designed Busy Buttons CORE creative workshop. 

This Busy Buttons CORE community heritage project has brought a cross section of the community representing all ages and participants from far and wide. The generous support of Windsor Yards, The Prince Philip Trust Fund, The Louis Baylis Trust, The Royal Summer Show, The Windsor, Eton and Ascot Town Partnership, En route International, Our Community Enterprise and Theatre Royal Windsor is greatly appreciated. But we must also thank the timely assistance of our volunteers and private historic contributions from our well-wishers, who have enriched this whole experiential learning project.
